R.S. Manansala is a cubist, mnemonist, mensan and a Christian. He is an Engineering graduate and taught in College for eight years.
Narrative:
Vicente S. Manansala (National Artist, click here ) is my uncle, he was the first cousin of my father Domingo B. Manansala and their fathers, Perfecto and Alejandro were brothers.
I first met Vicente S. Manansala on Christmas day when we visited him on Dec 25, 1966 in his house in West Riverside, Del Monte, QC. He was finishing Mother and Child painting.
My father Domingo accompanied Vicente in all his major exhibits.
My family loves art because of his influence.
